LA's museums provide excellent opportunities for art history students to pursue research, study, internships, and employment. Art History faculty at UCLA have a long tradition of formal and informal involvement with art institutions in the broader Southern California region: they have contributed to world-class exhibitions, served as curatorial consultants, placed students in internships, and helped to build and re-shape permanent collections.
